High temperature resistant wire is a type of wire used in high temperature environments, which can function normally without damage at higher temperatures. Generally speaking, the service life of high-temperature resistant wires depends on many factors such as the temperature they are exposed to, the working environment, and the operating conditions during use. The service life of high-temperature resistant wires:

1. Silicone rubber wires:

The service life of silicone rubber wires is generally around 5-10 years. Depending on the usage environment and working conditions, some may be shorter, while others may be longer.

The service life of silicone rubber wires is mainly affected by the following factors:

(1) Temperature: Silicone rubber wires have good temperature resistance and can generally withstand high temperatures up to around 200 ℃. However, prolonged exposure to high temperatures can lead to aging, hardening, and other phenomena in wire materials, shortening their service life.

(2) Working environment: Silicone rubber wires are often used in high-temperature resistant situations, such as inside mechanical equipment and high-temperature furnaces. If there are many chemicals, corrosive gases, etc. in the working environment, it will have an impact on the insulation material of the wires and reduce the service life of the wires.

(3) Voltage and current load: The higher the current load on a wire, the greater the temperature rise, which affects the insulation material of the wire and reduces its service life.

2. PTFE wire:

Polytetrafluoroethylene wire is a high-temperature wire that uses polytetrafluoroethylene as insulation material, which has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and good insulation performance. Its service life is generally longer than that of silicone rubber wires, which can reach more than 10 years.

The service life of polytetrafluoroethylene wires is mainly affected by the following factors:

(1) Temperature: PTFE wires have excellent high-temperature resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 260 ℃. However, long-term exposure to high temperatures can still lead to certain aging phenomena.

(2) Working environment: Similar to silicone rubber wires, PTFE wires also need to consider the impact of chemicals, corrosive gases, and other factors in the working environment on insulation materials.

(3) Voltage and current loads: They also have an impact on the service life of wires.

How to extend the service life of high-temperature resistant wires:

1. Temperature control: Try to avoid high-temperature resistant wires being exposed to extremely high temperature environments for a long time, control the working temperature range reasonably, and avoid problems such as wire aging and hardening caused by overheating.
